Mockups + design

How long does a mockup take? 24–48 business hours from when we receive your logo and quantity. If your logo file needs to be redrawn from a low-res image, add 1 business day.

Is the mockup really free? Yes. No mockup fee, no setup fee, no charge for revisions. We only invoice once you approve a design and confirm the order.

Can I see Class 2 and Class 3 mockups before deciding? Yes. Mention both in your quote request and we’ll send two mockups — same logo, two specs — so you can compare cost and compliance.

Can you match my Pantone? We match Pantone C colors as closely as the screen-print or heat-transfer process allows on fluorescent polyester. Fluorescent background material shifts color rendering, so we always send a physical pre-production sample for Pantone-critical brands at 500+ vests.

What file formats do you accept? Best: vector (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF with vector content). Acceptable: high-resolution PNG (300 DPI at print size). Not acceptable: low-res JPGs from a website — we’ll redraw them, but it adds a day.

ANSI 107 + compliance

What’s the difference between Class 2 and Class 3? Class 2 is for environments under 50 mph traffic exposure — most warehouse, event, indoor, and utility work. It uses 2″ retroreflective tape and 775 sq inches of background material. Class 3 is for environments above 50 mph or low-light conditions — most DOT road work, nighttime construction, and traffic control. It uses full 360° banding, sleeves with reflective tape, and 1240 sq inches of background.

Will my logo placement break ANSI 107 compliance? We design every layout to maintain the minimum background area required by ANSI/ISEA 107-2020. If your requested logo size or placement would compromise compliance, we’ll tell you in the mockup phase and propose alternatives.

Are your vests ANSI 107 certified? Yes — our base vests are independently tested and certified to ANSI/ISEA 107-2020. We provide certificates on request for compliance audits.

Are FR (flame-resistant) vests available? Yes, for utility and energy-sector crews. FR vests use a modacrylic-blend shell and are rated to ASTM F1506. Lead time is the same; pricing is higher per unit.

Pricing + payment

What’s the minimum order? 50 vests.

Why don’t you list prices on the site? Per-vest cost depends on six variables (class, color, decoration method, number of placements, quantity, and rush). Listing a single price would mislead. The quote form is faster than asking us to publish a sample.

Do you offer Net 30? Yes, for verified business accounts on orders of 250+ vests. Email accounts@customhivisvests.com after submitting your first quote request.

Do you offer purchase orders? Yes. We accept POs from established companies, government agencies, and non-profits for orders of 100+ vests.

Lead time + shipping

How long until I get my vests? 3–4 weeks from artwork approval for first orders. 2 weeks for reorders from artwork on file.

Can you rush? Sometimes — depends on production queue. Rush surcharge is 25% of order total and gets you to 10–14 days. Tell us your deadline in the quote form and we’ll be honest about feasibility.

Where do you ship? Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Ground freight by default; expedited at cost.

Do you ship to event venues? Yes — we ship directly to convention centers, festival sites, race start lines, etc. Include the venue contact name and receiving hours in your order notes.

Reorders + account

How do I reorder? Email reorders@customhivisvests.com with your previous order number and the new quantity. We’ll reuse your approved artwork and ship in 2 weeks.

Can you store my logo and brand guide on file? Yes. Every customer record holds approved artwork, brand colors, vest spec, and decoration method. Your team can email a reorder without re-sending files.
