Shipping timelines
First orders (new artwork): 3–4 weeks from artwork approval. Production begins the same day you sign off on the mockup and pay (or confirm Net 30).
Reorders (artwork on file): 2 weeks from order confirmation.
Rush orders: 10–14 days, subject to capacity. 25% rush surcharge. Available only if requested before order confirmation.
Shipping methods
Default: ground freight from our Midwest facility. Most US destinations arrive within 3–5 business days of dispatch.
Expedited options available at cost: 2-day air, overnight, or freight with guaranteed delivery date. Quote on request.
Where we ship
Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada. International outside Canada — contact us; we can quote case-by-case.
Delivery to non-standard addresses
We routinely ship to: job-site trailers, festival venues, race start lines, convention centers, warehouses with restricted receiving hours, and military bases.
When ordering, include the receiving contact name, phone, and any receiving-hour restrictions in the order notes. We pass this through to the carrier.
Return policy
Because vests are custom-decorated to your artwork, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, sizing reorders, or unused inventory.
We will replace at no charge:
- Vests that arrive damaged in transit
- Vests with defective stitching, tape adhesion failure, or material defects
- Orders that don’t match the approved mockup (wrong logo placement, wrong color, wrong decoration method)
- Vests that fail ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 compliance testing on arrival
To request a replacement: Email accounts@customhivisvests.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the defect, and the quantity affected. We’ll ship replacement units at no charge.
Order changes after production starts
Once you approve the mockup and we start production, we can’t change quantities or specs without re-running the order. If you need a change, contact us within 24 hours of approval — we may still be able to swap before the production line locks in.
