1. Agreement
By using www.customhivisvests.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Quote and order process
Submitting a quote request does not create a binding order. An order is binding only when you approve a mockup in writing (email confirmation is sufficient) and either pay the invoice or confirm a Net 30 commitment.
Approved mockups are final. You are responsible for reviewing the mockup carefully — including logo placement, spelling, color, vest class, and decoration method — before approving. Once production starts, changes are subject to availability and may incur additional cost.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the quote date. Payment terms are payment-in-advance unless you have an approved Net 30 account. Net 30 accounts are subject to credit review and may be required to provide trade references.
Sales tax is added where applicable.
4. Artwork and intellectual property
You represent and warrant that you own or have authorization to use any logos, trademarks, designs, or other intellectual property you submit. By submitting artwork, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of producing your order.
We do not use customer artwork in our portfolio, marketing materials, or on our website without separate written permission.
5. Manufacturing and product specifications
All vests are manufactured to ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 standards. We may make minor manufacturing adjustments (substituting equivalent base materials, adjusting layout for compliance) provided the final product meets or exceeds the approved spec. Material substitutions of equivalent or higher grade do not require re-approval.
6. Lead times
Lead times are estimates based on current production capacity. We meet quoted lead times in the vast majority of cases. Delays caused by force majeure events (supply chain disruption, weather, transit issues outside our control) are not grounds for cancellation or refund.
7. Returns and warranty
See Shipping & Returns for our defect-replacement policy. We do not accept returns for change of mind, sizing errors on your side, or unused inventory.
Vests are warrantied against manufacturing defects for 90 days from delivery. Normal wear, abuse, exposure to incompatible chemicals, and modification of the vest by the customer void this warranty.
8. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost contracts, or workplace incidents arising from misuse of PPE.
Hi-vis vests are one part of a workplace safety program. The customer is responsible for verifying the vest meets the applicable regulatory standard for their work environment.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which www.customhivisvests.com is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in that state.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site or placement of a new order after a change constitutes acceptance.
